Along with our 20 Time Project, my class is also going to be possibly taking part in a "Tedx" event. For those of you who don't know what a "Tedx" event is, it is an organization that allows people to stand in front of an audience and talk about ideas that they feel are important enough to share with the world. Although these ideas exclude religious ideas. I know what I would talk about if I were to take part in the event, but my only issue is my fear of speaking in front of people. I feel that my idea is so important and powerful but if I deliver it wrong, my idea will be ruined. Not to mention, the event is the weekend before final exams which would just add to the stress. Although it is important to remember that this is a once in a life time chance to share my ideas and to not do it because of a silly fear would be terrible.
The progress of my project so far had not really changed I'm a little stuck because I don't know where to start. I didn't mention in my last few posts about starting by talking to my principal first but now I am worried that local businesses won't want to put up a stand at the carnival for free. I am going to offer them free advertisement, so maybe that will make the appeal better.
